We are currently seeking a full time permanent qualified Early Years Practitioner & a part time Nursery Cook to join our team at ACE Place Rodger Drive.
Candidates should be motivated, energetic, flexible and above all passionate about working with children.

Early Years Practitioner
Candidates to be qualified to HNC or SVQ Level 3 in Early Education & Childcare or equivalent. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of key documents including Building the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence, Pre-Birth to Three and GIRFEC, along with at least one year’s experience in a childcare environment.
Responsibilities for the role include –
Working as part of a professional team
Providing learning experiences for children, recording outcome and next steps
Liaising with children’s families to build relationships and support care and development
Attendance at staff meetings
Successful candidates will be required to register with SSSC and have an up-to-date PVG disclosure.
Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week @ £9.75 per hour
Nursery Cook
As one of a team of two cooks at Rodger Drive our Nursery Cook will ideally hold a relevant food hygiene certificate, have a working knowledge of Cooksafe or similar and experience of cooking in a care/retail environment.
Responsibilities for the role include –
Working as part of a professional team
Preparing food to a pre-planned weekly menu
Adapting for children with allergies and providing pre-agreed alternatives
Following appropriate cook safe procedures to ensure high standards of hygiene and infection control
Distributing food to playroom and collecting dishes afterwards
Cleaning kitchen at end of shift
Successful candidates will be required to register with SSSC and have an up-to-date PVG disclosure.
Working Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week @ £9.70 per hour
