Saw this on another site and thought it was a great idea. If you are looking for things to do with pre-schoolers during lockdown helping them to write a letter to the people they miss is a great idea and would be a welcome arrival on the doormat of perhaps an elderly or shielding family member. Facetime, zoom and house party are great too but receiving a hand written letter or picture through the post would brighten up many people’s day. You will have to do most of the writing of course but your child can add a picture perhaps and will enjoy a trip to the post box as part of your daily exercise. School aged children might also like this idea, they can do all the work themselves and send notes to their friends the ‘old-fashioned’ way!
