ACE Place rooms: Robins

The Robins room is a cosy room registered for 6 babies. The children are cared for on a 1:3 ratio by staff who are supported by a trainee to ensure that our children have the best possible care.

The routines in this room closely follow those adopted at home and the staff work closely with parents to make sure that our littlest babies settle in safely.

The Doves room is a little larger however staff in both rooms are well equipped to support your child as they grow and develop, meeting their needs until they are ready to move on to our Penguin room.

Staff in both rooms are familiar with and understanding of each child’s need for connection to feel secure at nursery; their needs for attachment are fundamental to our approach to caring for our youngest children and meeting their individual needs.

Our practice is guided by Realising the Ambition: Being Me, with a strong focus on secure attachments, responsive care and nurturing environments that support babies to feel safe, settled and supported in their wellbeing and early development.
