Babies are cared for by qualified staff who build strong relationships with them and their families, creating a partnership for care to best meet the needs of each child.
Our practice in the baby room is guided by Realising the Ambition: Being Me, with a strong focus on secure attachments, responsive care and nurturing environments that support babies to feel safe, settled and supported in their wellbeing and early development.
As children grow into beyond the baby room the continue to benefit from strong bonds with their key workers and have greater freedom to explore and develop whilst engaging in a range of familiar routines and play based activities.
Our practice is then continues to be guided by Realising the Ambition: Being Me but we also play close attention to the Curriculum for Excellence (Early Level), supporting children’s wellbeing and learning through play while developing skills for school and future learning.
We also follow Curriculum for Excellence (Early Years) supporting children’s wellbeing, curiosity and enriching their experiences before they transition to school.
