At ACE Place we care. We care about our Community. Our Community is made up of People and Place.
Our People are the Children and their Families, our Colleagues, and our Partners.
Our Place is the physical environment. This extends beyond our own walls and gardens to embrace the local places within our community that we explore regularly.
At ACE Place we encourage everyone who is part of our ACE Place Community to have an appreciation and fondness for our immediate community and beyond. We do this through exploration and play, through being loving, caring and sensitive and by creating a friendly environment where everyone feels valued, included and connected…..a place where All Children Excel.

We are Caring and develop attachments to our children and families as we understand the role this has in meeting emotional needs and providing security

Our Aims
We will provide a happy, stimulating atmosphere. Through quality interactions between colleagues and children we will encourage curiosity, inquiry and creativity, and promote active learning
We will support positive relationships with and between children. By promoting respect for each other we will help children to develop co-operative play, communication and social interactions.
We will recognise each child as an individual. We will plan with our children to meet their individual needs and to connect with them using a variety of consultation methods. We will work collaboratively with families to support each child as an individual, we believe each child is unique and an active learner.
We will communicate regularly with parents and families. Through one to one meetings, parent’s evenings and forums, stay and play sessions, email updates, our Famly app and more we will build meaningful relationships to ensure families within our ACE Place Community are fully engaged in our service and are actively involved in contributing to continuous improvement.
We will monitor our practice and outcomes regularly. Through self and peer evaluation and by gathering feedback from our stakeholders we will strive to provide the highest possible standard of care.
We will work in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders. To ensure each child’s needs are met in their entirety we will collaborate with other professionals and share information as and when required
We will be active in our local community. Through visits to woodland, parks, schools, library, care homes etc we will encourage ownership of, and pride in our community, building children’s confidence to access and explore their local environment.
